Gauntlett argues that the classic roles of audiences and producers have united to create the role of a prosumer. he argues this has happened through websites such as you tube, that allows us to create our own identity as well as influencing other peoples.
Audience Reactions:
Audiences are now more active then passive this is because they want to feel connected, because of this its almost impossible to predict how the audience will react.

Jenkins
Henry Jenkins' theory suggests that a unique selling point is created through certain genres appearing to break the rules. This involves hybridisation, which is used to describe a type of media convergence where new media is brought out containing parts of old media.
