Throughout the video of the vaccines "if you wana come back" the main prop used is instruments, this is a common theme when looking at indie rock videos as the focus if usually shifted onto the instruments as it helps maintain a personal element allowing them to connect with the audience. This also reflects Goodwin's theory as the visuals (the instruments) have strong relationships with the music as unquestionable that the song features electric guitars and drums.
ALL AMERICAN REJECTS - DIRTY LITTLE SECRET
Throughout the video for all american rejects video for dirty little secret there are a number of cards shown featuring 'dirty little secrets' of the people who are in the video, by doing this the band has managed to add a personal link into the music video.this also goes with Goodwin's theory of lyrics linking to the visuals.
Imagine dragons - Radioactive
In this video the use of the drum is not only used to create a personal link with the audience, but it is used to add more of performance element. This is an example of Goodwins theory as there are links between the lyrics and the visuals, its clear that the drum is featured in the song at that given point.
